Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy in Newington, Connecticut.
I derive great joy from helping people achieve and maintain wellness through massage therapy.
I have always been interested in the function of the human body and how alternative modalities
can affect wellness in the individual.
I believe we are our own greatest healers. I continue to self-educate by experiencing many
healing techniques for my own health and well-being. By expanding my knowledge I can
better serve my clients.
I am a voracious reader and enjoy reading about and have knowledge in the areas of
Aromatherapy, Chinese Medicine, Ayurvedic Medicine, Acupuncture, Energy Medicine, Cranial
Sacral Therapy, Neuroscience and general health and wellness.

I am the founder and director of Niantic Acupuncture and Family Wellness, LLC in Niantic, Connecticut.
Presently, I am serving the president of the board of the Connecticut Society of Acupuncturists (CTSA) the Connecticut primary representative for the American Society of Acupuncturists (ASA).
In 2003, I earned my graduate degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine (MTCM) from the Five Branches University in Santa Cruz, California after which I started a private practice as a practitioner of Chinese Medicine in Felton and Sunnyvale, California while maintaining privileges as a licensed Acupuncturist at El Camino Hospital in Mountain View, California.
I have 25 years of experience as an RN in Critical and Emergency Care also in the San Francisco Bay Area.
My skills are in preventive medicine, the treatment of pain disorders, facial disorders, myofascial and orthopedic disorders, sports medicine, mental health, physical and emotional disorders of stress, anxiety and depression, internal medicine, cardiovascular disorders, women’s health, and hospice and palliative care.
I consider each person’s case as unique, highly personal, and fully integrated, emotionally, physically and mentally.
By combining my knowledge and experience both as a Western and Eastern medicine health care practitioner, I am able to provide an integrative approach to assessment and effective treatment, even for those who are very ill.

She is a Licensed Acupuncturist and Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate, offering a trauma-informed, culturally attuned, and deeply compassionate, person-centered approach to wellness.
Stacey specializes in acupuncture and mind-body therapies for anxiety, women’s health issues, chronic illness, cancer recovery, and emotional trauma. Her treatments draw on both Chinese and Japanese acupuncture styles and are often integrated with somatic therapies and Eastern food energetics for whole-person healing.
Her clinical experience spans private practice, teaching hospitals, and multidisciplinary wellness centers and she brings a unique perspective to her practice shaped by a background in allied health, integrative medicine, mental health counseling, and science education.

Bernadette graduated from the New England School of Acupuncture at Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in Worcester Massachusetts with a Master’s of Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine with Japanese styles. She is a National Board certified, Massachusetts and Connecticut state Licensed Acupuncturist and Herbalist.
Bernadette began her journey into healthcare as a Registered Nurse, graduating with her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from The College at Brockport SUNY in 2011. She has worked in various settings at the hospital and continues to work at UMass.
Watching her mother going through cancer treatment was a critical point for Bernadette and made her reexamine what health is and the role of healthcare in the journey through an illness. After experiencing first-hand the benefits of Acupuncture and Herbal treatment, Bernadette knew that a comprehensive and holistic approach would help her best serve patients.
